MIKE GRANT

Mike Grant is a therapist, running coach, and author in Portland, Oregon. He earned his Master’s in Social Work from Portland State University in 2018 and is licensed in both Oregon (LCSW, CADC II) and Washington (LICSW). His own recovery journey shaped his passion for guiding others toward resilience, growth, and peak performance.

Mike’s path into endurance running—finishing multiple marathons and ultramarathons up to 100 miles—sparked his curiosity about the connection between mental health, nervous system regulation, and athletic performance. Discovering the power of EMDR and Brainspotting in his own life, he launched Aid Station Performance Therapy & Coaching to help athletes and individuals overcome fear, anxiety, and mental blocks.

Beyond his practice, Mike serves as a licensed therapist in a Portland-area hospital, leads community runs with RUN TRG Portland, and partners with Wy’east Wolfpack as a certified UESCA run coach. His mission: to help people unlock their best selves—on the trail, in recovery, and in life.
